The EU’s use-it-or-lose-it rules on airport landing slots has been suspended by Brussels in a reaction to the Coronavirus epidemic. This has resulted in airlines being freed to halt all the ’ghost flights’ as flights have been taking off without any passengers due to Coronavirus fears.
