Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas claimed he was turned away from the polling station because his name did not appear on voter rolls. Lucas shared a video encouraging his constituents to vote in Missouri’s primary on Tuesday but wrote on Twitter that shortly after recording the clip, he was turned away after he headed to vote. ’If the mayor can get turned away, think about everyone else’, he wrote.
Well, you are in charge dude. Maybe the system is messed up bc you suck at your job?
...like to see some proof
Oh please. The poll worker mixed up your first and last names, as if with a name like "Quinton Lucas" this has never happened to you before. This is why prospective parents should seriously consider avoiding designer or excessively unusual first names. I understand the desire to have only one child answer when you call out their name over a crowd, but it saves a lot of confusion for clerks and record keepers when they can easily distinguish the first name from the last name.
Don't forget to register then.
Probably went to the wrong polling station. I mean, progressives keep telling us that POC's are to dumb to know how to use the internet, get an ID, register to vote. If that's the case, finding the right polling place is definitely out.
Is he legal?
This is the con playbook. If you can’t beat them, cheat them. www.gregpalast.com has been profiling this for about a decade. Watch the movie.
What are these "old GOP white men and their women" doing to POC, haven't you already taken away too much?
Voter supression continues as the fascists try and steal another election. Sad.
SHAME!
Did he register to vote?
