Joe Biden wins big, closing in on the Democratic nomination

As results continue to come in, Joe Biden extended his lead, piling up delegates. Biden was declared a winner in Idaho, Missouri, Mississippi, and Michigan. Of these Michigan was keenly watched - not only given a significant delegate haul (125), but symbolic for Sanders, whose pulled off a surprise win in 2016. Overall, of the 1651 delegates declared, Biden has won 823 against 663 for Sanders.

This is so tragic. The slowest motion car crash I have ever seen. I love it. Who could continue being a Democrat?

Bernie will lose. Biden will take Hillary as his VP He will declare himself unfit to rule Present-Default Hillary Clinton. This is the plan.

Hahaha! All these Bernie supporters are all silent now. I wonder if they realize now most people don't want with socialism, they'd rather vote for a guy that can barely talk over Bernie. I'm sure they'll say it was rigged... never admit defeat.

Don't worry, Bernie. Just offer the people more FREE stuff. That will turn it around for you.

Give it time. Bernie will endorse Biden in the end. The question is will Bernie's supporters vote the way they are told to vote?

The reasons Bernie has seen such low turnout is because he lost a good portion of his base, people like myself that were once Bernie Bros switched over to Trump after 2016 primaries when the super delegates rigged the Democratic nomination in Hillary's favor that was my first red pill and what started me down the rabbit hole.

Has anyone seen any stories about voter turnout to Dem primaries following Super Tuesday? How awful must it be to effectivly have Bernie and Joe as the only choices, especially as DNC and media pretty much shills for Biden.

the best the democratic party could offer voters is a 78 year old socialist who's had a heart attack and a 77 year old man who clearly is losing it and screams at people. You could have had Tulsi Gabbard while not perfect she's much better then these two and unlike these two she has principles

Biden just has to be pushed on some issues and people watch the "debate" and Bernie will win. Unless Biden has a sudden and unforeseen change of metal capacity...

All the Bernie Bros are either going to stay home or like myself in 2016 realize what a sham the Democratic party is and switch to Trump.

Why do people want to pick a man who is too old to keep his thoughts together; in this case we have another "Ronald Reagan, Nancy ran his office bc he mentally couldn't! At least Bernie is in his "right" mind!
