Trump administration can go ahead with ’Remain in Mexico’ policy: Supreme Court

The Trump administration was allowed to go ahead with its policy that requires asylum seekers to remain in Mexico. The Supreme Court allowed the policy to continue, while the Trump administration appeals a lower court ruling that had said that the program was illegal.

I don't even know why this required a SCOTUS ruling when it's clearly legal and within POTUS powers.

We're literally in the midst of a pandemic and the spread of a virus and people are worried about immigration? Jesus christ.

People break into our country, then demand the right to remain in our country. This is bullshit and there's no way the founders intended for lawbreakers to have their crimes vindicated by the constitution.

I am happy for the US to grant asylum to all who need it, and I imagine most of us feel the same way. Key word there being NEED.

Your ancestors built your society the globalists are trying to destroy. The people make America, NOT the geolocation. Keep importing the third world and their cultures and life styles and you won’t have America anymore. That’s a fact- look at London and prove me wrong. Globalism is a cancer and pisses all over our ancestors bloodshed.

While I don't agree with the policy, and don't think it will withstand a constitutional test, and that the lower court was correct in that finding. I do believe the supreme court was right in allowing the policy to be enforced while the Trump administration appeal is being heard. The constitutions gives the power of boarder enforcement, immigration, and foreign policy to the other branches of government, primarily the executive. The courts should always differ to them, until a definitive ruling is reached, however they should fast track such questions through the course system as well. Personally this policy is just bad no matter what angle you look at it from. Nothing like being a crappy neighbor because we live just up the hill and can dump our problem on others.

Funny how the US spreads it's democracy to countries.... Then the population is either murdered en masse, or flees the violence Comes to the country that caused the misery, and is turned away.... How the US has fallen...
