China government spokesman says US army might have brought virus to China

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian wrote on Twitter that the US military might have brought the coronavirus to China. ’When did patient zero begin in US? How many people are infected? What are the names of the hospitals? It might be US army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan,’ Zhao tweeted on Thursday. ’Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe us an explanation,’ he wrote.

I'm curious to see the "evidence" they present to support their claim. I think this is a lashing attempt at saving face. They know they handled the Virus growth poorly and are shoving the blame on opposition.

This is a Chinese conspiracy theory, that the Wuhan Flu was released in their nation by the CIA. For "reasons". Because EVERYBODY eats bats, pangolins, and other wildlife from unclean, unsanitary, medieval level street butchers. 😑

"Be transparent, make public your data." - How about you first hypocrite... tell us how you are locking people in their homes, lessening tests done, leaving people to starve and jump out of buildings. How about the dr and journalist who reported on the virus and you immediately silenced them. Rules for thee but not for meeee... Countries might be hit hard if you don't trade with them, but truth is, they will all recover, the free markets will soon bloom which will grow the economy. But yours will collapse when countries don't trade with you. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
