Schools to be shut in Germany to slow Coronavirus spread

Germany has taken measures to control the spread of the Coronavirus disease by shutting down schools and kindergartens in most states in Germany. The schools will be shut down until after the Easter holidays next month. Markus Soeder, the Bavarian state premier further added that the authorities will further take stock of the situation.

It's moronic that we've not done this. Children aren't at risk of dying from this virus, but the ones with bougie world-travelling parents will be the ones who spread it furthest to actually risky demographics.
