Trump administration rule changes expected to knock 700,000 off food stamps

Starting April 1, the Trump administration will tighten work requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) previously called food stamps. 700,000 people are expected to lose eligibility, of the total 36 million enrollees. The average recipient earns about $2,250 a year and receives about $165 in monthly SNAP benefits.

I have put an edit in for the summary. since its heavily biased and uses a direct quote from the Vox article. I added information that is important to the reader, like the fact that there are currently 36,000,000 people using these programs and that, using Vox's numbers, this move will save the tax payer 3 billion dollars.
