Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health, leading the US response to coronavirus, acknowledged Friday that early failings in getting widespread testing were now being ’corrected’. ’It is very likely we will have that within the next week or so’, Fauci said on the availability of kits enabling easy access. Fauci previously predicted ’an acceleration of cases’ in the US.
