Ireland closes all pubs to stem coronavirus spread

Ireland has ordered all bars in the country shut until at least the end of the month to curb the spread of coronavirus. The government’s move on Sunday comes just two days before Ireland’s national day, St Patrick’s Day, which traditionally sees bars across the country packed. Ireland closed schools and universities last week.
