EU President proposes ban on non-essential incoming foreign travel

Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission proposed that most foreign visitors coming to Europe should be prevented from doing so. The measures, which are aimed to prevent a spread of coronavirus, could be the strictest measures taken by the European Commission as of now.

Surprised that they didn't do this after the WHO declared the Wuhan Flu as a pandemic. Conversely, France/Italy may come out of this faster since their population was exposed to the virus at a broader scale than other nations and should acquire immunity sooner.
