Death toll rises as Israel-Palestinian violence intensifies

At least 137 Palestinians, including 36 children, have been killed and more than 920 wounded since hostilities between the Hamas in Gaza and Israel flared up on Monday. At least nine people in Israel have also been killed. Hamas fired another barrage of rockets towards Israel, hitting the city of Ashdod early on Saturday. Israel bombarded the Gaza Strip with air raids and artillery shells.

Israel is now targeting children? How brave! But its no surprise. This is standard operating procedure for Israel.

Interesting, media outlets almost always list Palestinian women and children hurt or killed (albeit unverified numbers generally) but just “Israeli” when it comes to Israel. I wonder why they do this?

So Trump negotiated a peace deal that would have gone through had he won. Instead, Biden wins... gives millions to Palestine, and now wr have a literal invasion of Gaza happening after Hamas bombed civilians. Meanwhile Hamas continues to use civilians as human shields. You get what you vote for.

Hmmm... Which Theocracy do I support? How about NONE OF THEM. Abolish both states. Seperation of church and state.

If no one intervenes, Israel is going to dominate militarily. Then they will just have to deal with even more years of guerrilla tactics, car and suicide bombs, and the occasional truck of peace. So in other words, business as usual.

Hamas are terrorist and this retaliation is an equal or arguably worts form of terrorism by Israel.

Hamas keeps launching rockets because they don't care about the lives of the Palestinian Arabs who elected them and still stu_pidly support them.

All you need to do is look at the casualty count. This is completely one sided, and israel started it with their for ed evictions of people living on land israel has no right to.

Well, this is why you shouldn't let Hamas target civilian populations with rockets then hide under your local school. Israel is not innocent by a long stretch, but it's also clear that Palestinians cheered on the Hamas attack, and are supporting their side in this conflict. Let them fight. Neither side is going to let this rest until they resolve this for themselves the hard way, and neither side is clean.

Oh, isn't that nice? They're actually listing dead Jews! A truly balanced media. So here's the truth: The entirety of the central and southern parts of Israel have been terrorized for days. That means emotional scarring for *tens of thousands of children*. This has been daily life for Jews living in yhe vicinity of the Gaza Strip ever since Israel *evacuated Jewish settlemente there in a quest for peace*. The dead in Israel have so far been an 80 year old whose house was hit, a 50 year old who died running to a shelter and a five year old boy, among others. But oh, the children of Gaza are the ones truly suffering! There have been far more people injured in massive Arab pogroms throughout Israel. Arabs torched a synagogue in Lod and lynched several people, including soldiers assaulted in Jaffa and elsewhere. The only reason there are any dead in Gaza is that Hamas deliberately places launchers within civilian areas, such as residential neighborhoods. Get your facts straight, "News"Voice.

When 9/11 happened, we all but turned Iraq and Afghanistan into miles of glass. Comparatively speaking Isreal's response is rather tamed. You don't get to complain about losing a fight you start because your opponent is better.

Israel has stood proud in the defense of their ancestral lands and people, when the nations around it declared war in order to destroy them and finish their goal of cleansing the Jews from the middle east and north Africa the Israeli military stood strong and fought hard and came out victorious. May the dream of a peaceful Jewish/palastinian state that they have fought and paid for in blood one day come to pass.

The Palestinians need to get the rest of the Arab world to support them if they want any chance at beating the terror state.

It's been five days and casualty numbers are that low?

Odd that the news doesn't report the Israeli children killed. 🤔

Israel is not a legitimate state, and is ethnically cleansing the Palestinians in the region

Last time tensions were this high we had Eisenhower to stop the bloodshed. Now... we have Biden (Trump would not have been better). I am not optimistic especially considering how he handles Ukrane.
