Amazon deliveries taking longer due to coronavirus-related demand

Amazon says shoppers should expect more ’out-of-stocks’ on household staples and longer delivery times due to heightened demand particularly of items like disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer and paper towels during the coronavirus outbreak. Amazon says it’s taking action against price gouging, and is reportedly planning to hire additional 100,000 workers to address the surge in demand.
