Japan eyes big stimulus package to battle hit from virus

Japanese PM will form a panel of ministers including FM Taro Aso and summon corporate executives from a range of industries hit by the epidemic such as hotels, retailers and freelancers to lay out a package which would be launched in April to help the economy weather the hit from the coronavirus outbreak.

Seems too focused on saving corporations, not enough on people. Japan: "The panel, which will include Nishimura, Finance Minister Taro Aso and others, will summon corporate executives from a range of industries hit by the epidemic such as hotels, retailers and freelancers, the government said in a statement."

Pretty funny eh? Both "isms" seem to need each other more than anyone's willing to admit. Inseparable really when you think about it.
