As per reports, the US government is in talks with tech giants and public health experts about ways they could use smartphone location data to battle the spreading coronavirus pandemic. As per The Washington Post, public-health experts are wondering if the private sector could compile the data in anonymous, aggregated form, which they could use to track the spread of infections.

its not hard to take someone who's infected and get a list of phones they were closer than 5ft away from for the last week and then trace the spread in relation to the gps locations in the log. the issue is the legality of it lmao.
