Most Americans don’t trust Trump on COVID19 information, poll shows

As per a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, few Americans trust President Trump when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. 46% (of 835 polled) now say the federal government is doing enough to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, down from 61% in February. 74% of Republicans, meanwhile, said they trust the information they hear about the virus from the president, while 21% disagreed.

As a supporter, I take everything he says with a grain of salt because he often says and does things to try and control the media and steer the public's response. That means he's not always forthright with his messages. I get why he has to do that and don't hold it against him, but I always reserve the right to be skeptical, and I seek other sources for information.
