An earthquake with a 5.2 Richter scale reading has the rocked the United States of America, just off the Californian coast. The quake caused a powerful surge which registered high on the Richter scale. The earthquake struck 14 km west of Petrolia, California.

"Massive" is the wrong adjective to use for a 5.x magnitude earthquake. Moderately strong is better.

Um we just at had a 5.7 in Utah yesterday but go off I guess. It felt like a little airplane turbulence.
