Major retailers around the world are changing their opening hours in order to allow elderly people, who are at greater risk of contracting the coronavirus to shop more comfortably. Official policies vary but the following retailers will designate their first hour after opening for the elderly: Wholefoods, Dollar General, Target, Walmart, Fairway Market, and several others.

That's a very good idea. Better yet have a phone line they can call with pickup in parking lot. Nursing homes could have a system too.
