NASA wants your help designing the robot that will go digging on the moon

With much of the nation stuck at home, NASA has opened a challenge on 3D modeling site GrabCAD to design a roller-bucket for their digging robot. Their current design, being a large cylinder, has issues with excessive weight, leaving an opening for a new idea from a talented engineer who might otherwise be cooped up at home.

Here’s an idea give this probe jet propulsion so it can fly around to other areas on moon quickly rather than just relying on the wheel. Good luck NASA
