Senators question Amazon on coronavirus safety at warehouses

Four US senators expressed concern in a letter to Amazon CEO Bezos that the retailer has not given enough support to warehouse staff during the coronavirus outbreak. The lawmakers include Sen. Booker and Sen. Sanders. The letter said workers risked poor performance ratings if they took sufficient time to wash their hands after coughing or sneezing on the job, an allegation the company refuted.

As much as I am not a fan of amazon, every other news article Ive seen in regards to the virus has been positive, from warning third party sellers against price gouging on masks and sanitizer, to keepong said supply lines open as besr possible. The rone and riming of the senators lerter seems just a little inappropriate when their colleagues were dumping millions in stocks.
