GM to lend its auto factories to support production of ventilators

General Motors said Friday it plans to lend its auto factories to support Ventec Life Systems’ production of ventilators. Ventec confirmed that it is planning to ’leverage GM’s logistics, purchasing and manufacturing expertise’ to build ventilators.

It will take time to rearrange the production line and we don't have much. I'm glad the lightbulb is going off in some heads about how our production can't be all done overseas. Trump has been calling this out for a long time. Ime sure a bunch of TDS folks will still have trash to talk about it though.

Just waiting now for the Asian supply chains to ramp back up and flights to resume and they’ll get right on this.

I wonder if we even make any here at all, it seems like if we did we should have seen a big increase already. My guess is they just buy from China. Then medical companies just overcharge for cheap Chinese product.
