Texas responds to increase in COVID-19 cases; Gov. warns of stricter measures

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has said the National Guard could begin monitoring drive-in testing sites on Monday, while prodding the federal government to do more to help states secure more tests and medical supplies. Abbott declined at a news conference to follow the lead of other states with a statewide ’shelter in place’ order. But he warned Texans that it could be coming.
