Senate fails to advance coronavirus stimulus package; next vote on Monday

After both the parties failed to clear a $1.6 tr emergency rescue package in the Senate on Sunday, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that a final vote on the package will take place Monday. Among the sticking points remaining are provisions for corporations getting federal assistance, including policy on stock buybacks and executive pay, as well as unemployment insurance and worker protections.

Evil Senate Democrats hate Americans and want them to die from coronavirus. They voted against the stimulus bill.

Why wasn't there a vote on the 1.5 TRILLION DOLLARS they dumped into the black hole that is wall street last week? It literally vanished in less than 3 hours, or so they say. Hurry up and do your job,if you still remember how, being that you've been getting paid for doing absolutely nothing for too long.

Really they can dumpster fire 2.2 trillion dollars for everyone except the average American and they can drag their feet on helping the average American and offer for assistance of 300 mil vs trillions of dollars? Just wrong. Is it time for the FDR breakfast?

Glad they turned it down. Workers first with no corporate bailouts.

Still a foolish action, though I would be rather surprised if they did not pass it through soon at this point.
