Quantitative easing (QE) is a form of extraordinary monetary policy used by central banks to quickly increase the domestic money supply and spur economic activity. It usually involves the central bank purchasing longer-term government bonds as well as other types of assets such as mortgage-backed securities (MBS). <---------- This stuff scares me more than the coronavirus.

I really think the federal government needs to stop fooling around with the markets. What they've done so far clearly hasn't worked and I'm pretty sure their indecision right now is making things even worse. If they said, "we're not going to do anything for a month while we reevaluate," I bet the market would start to stabilize some. Pretty sure the government doesn't know what it's doing right now.

Don't forget that either way if the markets go up or down people are making money so the real question is who is making money when the markets are tanking and obviously now they're pumping even more money into it it's a fucking scam.
