The Department of Justice defended its request for certain ’emergency powers’ in order to combat the coronavirus outbreak that has affected large parts of the United States. The Justice Department submitted the request to the Congress, while legal advocates and lawmakers warned that some of the proposals infringed on civil rights.

Still no. Solve the issue in a way that doesn't violate Rights or the Constitution. More courts, more judges, or less criminal laws, less mandatory prison time and more fines... Lots of options here that do not require "indefinite detention".
