Julian Assange’s lawyers will apply to release their client on bail on Wednesday because he risks contracting the coronavirus while imprisoned. The Wikileaks founder is being held at a prison in London on an extradition warrant for publishing classified information about the Iraq and Afghan wars. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 175 years in prison.
