Italy has recorded a smaller day-to-day increase in new coronavirus cases for the second straight day on Monday when 602 new deaths were registered, compared to 651 on Sunday and 793 on Saturday. The number of new cases were 4,789, nearly 700 less than the day-to-day increase of 5,560 new cases reported Sunday.
