Florida man says drug touted by Trump saved his life

A Florida man diagnosed with COVID-19 has claimed he was saved from death by the use of an anti-malaria drug touted as a possible treatment by President Trump. After more than a week in hospital, Rio Giardinieri, 52, claims doctors told him there was nothing more they could do. A subsequent use of hydroxychloroquine along with other drugs, he claims, led him feeling ’like nothing ever happened’.

There’s absolutely no way to say this particular medicine could have had any effect. He likely could have done nothing and ended up with the same result. Even if it did work, I guess this one guy nearly cancels out the guy who died from taking the same meds that trump touted. He and his wife both ingested chloroquine phosphate and 30 min later needed to be hospitalized. The wife recovered but the man did not.

Doesn't include 1000's of patients, but still a double blind study out of France "Upon study completion, twenty patients had received treatment and 16 were untreated controls. By day 6 of the study, 70% of treated patients no longer harbored virus as determined by RT-PCR, compared with 12.5% of controls. The combination of hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin was more effective at clearing virus than hydroxychloroquine alone." http://www.virology.ws/2020/03/19/hydroxychloroquine-reduces-viral-load-and-symptoms-in-covid-19-patients/

I added a few links that might help. it wouldn't let me add the actual image of the type of chloroquine phosphate that these idiots ingested, but I'm betting it looked something like this, and clearly stated it was "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION": https://arizonadailyindependent.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Chloroquin-phosphate.jpg Arizona man is Florida man 2.0.
