US newspapers appeal to China not to expel their reporters

Publishers of the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal have written an open letter to the Chinese government pleading not to expel their reporters. The letter said the media is suffering ’collateral damage’ from a diplomatic dispute between the US and China, and the expulsion of their journalists came at a critical time as the world responded to the coronavirus pandemic.
