Egypt declares two-week curfew from 7 pm to 6 am to fight COVID-19

In an effort to curb the spread of the COVID-19, Egypt has declared a curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for two weeks starting on Wednesday. A closure of schools and universities, shut on March 14 for two weeks, will be extended for a further two weeks. The government also allocated one billion Egyptian pounds ($63.69 million) to the health ministry to help it provide supplies.
