UK parliament to close for at least four weeks amid COVID-19 outbreak

Britain’s parliament is set to suspend sitting for at least four weeks from Wednesday. Parliament was earlier due to close for a three-week Easter break from March 31. However, the date has been brought forward given the coronavirus outbreak. Parliament had already closed to visitors and reduced the number of lawmakers allowed in the House of Commons chamber.
