Premature easing of lockdowns risks a second wave of COVID-19, warn experts

Experts have recommended that extending school and work closures at the coronavirus’ ground zero in China may delay a second wave of infections. This comes as China has begun easing a two-month lockdown in the city of Wuhan. The Lancet Public Health journal suggested continuing Wuhan’s shutdowns until April. The same sentiment has been shared by the WHO.

"Warned experts." And then you put a photo of the WHO idiot whose concern was "Hey, what do we name this new virus so that China isn't stigmatized?"

A second wave is assured either way. We would have to wait for a vaccine to be proven and widely administered for that to not be the case. This isn't a valuable statement.

People and businesses are not going to stand still for 1,2 maybe three months. they are eventually going to say forget it and go outside and meet up with people and open up businesses regardless of the governors ban. Govt might as well admit this and let businesses make the decision of their own to open and take risks.

But a second wave would also impact people who got infected but survived And thus have an immune system that is better able to handle the Coronavirus. I would argue that any damage caused by a second wave of the Coronavirus would be less than the damage caused by a continued quarantine of the country.

Well assuming chinese numbers are correct, it might be OK to somewhat losen up the lockdown. But as many WHO and other experts suggest, losening it shouldn’t mean getting rid of all of them. Slowly return to more personal liberty and fast reaction if things go bad should probably be the move. I really don’t trust the chinese numbers though...

Most intelligent virologists suggest this will end with warmer air temps. Not sure who these "journalists" are asking. I'm really sick over the overhyped panic peddling.

Honestly, we should just get rid of these guys. They put chinas interests first and lied on multiple accounts to doctor about the virus when we it was critical time to act. What's the point of them if they can't put political loyalty and bribery aside now?
