McCarthy cautions against unanimous consent on $2 trillion coronavirus package

Kevin McCarthy, the House Minority Leader said that the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package should be debated in the House, and should not be passed via unanimous consent. Leaders of both parties were mulling over the possibility of passing the bill via unanimous consent, which would have precluded the need for members to travel back to the Capitol.

So someone does have the spine to stand up to this mob panic? And in the House no less? Good. Hopefully, they negotiate more of the green deal out of this mess. It's so obvious that the Dems are trying to leverage the crisis to pass the legislation that they couldn't pass when people had the time to actually read the bill.

So Pelosi isn't the only one delaying this. Ok, I still have more respect for the Senate then the House at the moment.
