Real ID deadline gets pushed to Oct 2021

The Homeland Security Department (DHS) said Wednesday it would delay enforcement of rules requiring Americans to get new ID cards in order to board airplanes or enter a federal building by 12 months. The ’REAL ID’ deadline has now been extended until October 2021. In Jan, DHS said US states had issued more than 95 million compliant licenses and ID cards.
