Allergy-like red eyes are common in coronavirus patients, according to a nurse

Chelsey Earnest, a nurse at Life Care Center in Kirkland, Washington, claims that allergy-like red eyes are an indicator of COVID-19. She and her colleagues have been noticing coronavirus patients with the symptom. She stated that the white part of their eyes is not red, but it is as if they have a red eye shadow on the outside of their eyes.

I would not believe anecdotal evidence even of a nurse, but there is a little corroboration such as this article which cites the American Association of Opthamology. https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/red-itchy-eyes-may-be-another-symptom-of-coronavirus-infection-experts-say/ar-BB11FaR9 I'd still view it with caution as I've seen lots of rumors circulating.
