The Trump administration could demand ownership stakes in US airlines in exchange for $25B in direct grants to help the carriers survive a downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic. According to the bill, airlines can ask for the equivalent of their payroll between April 1 and Sept. 30 of last year. Treasury Secretary Mnuchin has indicated he can demand equity as compensation to the government.
There will be a demand for commercial air carriers after this emergency goes away. If they can't last until then, that just means inexpensive hardware, existing infrastructure and skilled workers ready for employment will all be in place for the new air carriers that pop up.
Oh oh socialism, or communism I'm confused. Need trumptist to splain
if an airline loses all of its emergency fund after a few weeks, they dont seem to be operating a good business lmao
