Trump approves four facilities to serve as hospitals in New York

President Trump approved four new facilities in New York to serve as hospitals. They will provide additional 4,000 beds during the coronavirus crisis. Cuomo mentioned that New York will also designate certain hospitals as ’COVID-only’. Around 52,000 people in the state have COVID-19, which is nearly half of all the cases in the United States.

Why ade such a large percentage of US caSes of the Coronavirus in New York? I get urban areas but California, Texas, and Illinois, while they do have many cases, still have significantly fewer than New York. There must be a reason.

The federal government needs to have people stay with tge supplies, he has been hoarding supplies or they never show up at hospitals. They he claims nothing arrived. It's like they did in Puerto Rico. Nice little games they play during emergency. Trust but verify. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo acknowledged Friday the state did have a stockpile of unused ventilators, despite his complaints the federal government was not sending enough. “We don’t need them today, because we’re not at capacity today, that’s why they’re not deployed because they’re not needed,” Cuomo said. Puerto Rico residents outraged after discovering warehouse full of unused aid from Hurricane Maria Gov. Wanda Vázquez fired the island's emergency director after the incident set off a social media firestorm.
