UK coronavirus restrictions could last ’up to six months’, says health official

The deputy chief medical officer for England, Dr Jenny Harries, has said that the restrictions put in place because of the virus outbreak could last for up to 6 months and only be gradually lifted. She said that the government is anticipating a worsening of the situation in the next 2 weeks and only after that a review of the restrictions will be undertaken.
