Italy to extend coronavirus lockdown until Easter as new cases fall

Italy government said Monday that the lock down to contain the spread of COVID-19, due to end on Friday, will be extended to atleast until Easter. The decision was announced amid reports that the number of new infections have declined. Italy saw an increase of 4,050 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, the lowest increase since March 17. However, the death toll rose by 812 reversing 2 days of declines.

The new cases depends on how many tested. They need drop in daily death rate. The total cases is rather useless. I could just stop all testing and new cases go to zero.
