Huawei says US blacklisting led to $12B revenue shortfall in 2019

Chinese Huawei has reported slowing profit growth in 2019 following the US blacklisting. Revenue for last year totaled 858.8 billion yuan ($123 billion), a 19.1% year-on-year rise. Net profit reported a 5.65% rise from last year. That’s slower than the profit growth of 25% reported in 2018 and 28% in 2017. A chairman at Huawei blamed the blacklisting for the $12 billion revenue shortfall.

Ok everyone, make sure you all understand that China good, America bad. Never mind the encroachment into international waters, never mind the rampant human rights abuses such as kidnapping and 1984-esque brainwashing, and please don't pay too much attention to the financial loan sharking China is doing in Africa. Forget all these things, because a Chinese telecom company missed its revenue growth after America blacklisted them.
