Cuomo to introduces budget cuts as New York grapples with loss of revenue

Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York introduced budget cuts including $400 million in funding to hospitals as Albany enters budget negotiations and the state grapples with the coronavirus crisis. Efforts to address and contain the deadly outbreak, more than 1,000 New Yorkers have died, has added to spending and reduced revenue. Federal support has only made a dent in the gap of $10 billion.
