US extends Iran nuclear cooperation sanctions waivers

The Trump administration has renewed a group of sanctions waivers to allow US and foreign companies to do business with Iran’s nuclear program for another 60 days. Mike Pompeo signed off on the extensions but couched the decision as one that continues restrictions on Iran’s atomic work. The waivers are among the few remaining components of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal that the US has not canceled.
