Prisoners across US will be confined for 14 days to cut coronavirus spread

The Bureau of Prisons on Tuesday announced it will begin confining federal inmates to their cells for 14 days in an attempt to prevent further exposure to coronavirus. The bureau said the order could be extended to a later date. Inmates in smaller groups will be allowed to phone calls, laundry and showering etc, and educational programs and mental health treatment will also continue.
