Pet cat tests positive for coronavirus in Hong Kong

A pet cat in Hong Kong has tested positive for COVID-19, after its owner was confirmed with having the virus. It’s the third case where an animal is known to have contracted the virus after two dogs also tested positive in the city. The feline has though shown no symptoms of the disease. The WHO had said on 13 March that there is no evidence that pets can be infected with the coronavirus.
