FBI reports staggering 3.7 Million firearm background checks in March

US has seen 3.74 million firearm background checks in March, a staggering 40% increase from the same period last year, according to FBI figures released Wednesday. The number shatters the record of 3,314,594, set in December 2015. The background check figures confirm reports from gun retailers who say they’ve seen a surge in sales in recent weeks tied to coronavirus concerns.
