Texas women forced to travel 20 times farther for abortion

Women in Texas, wanting an abortion, are now required to travel 20 times farther as a result of the state’s new ban. A new study by research group, Guttmacher Institute, which supports abortion rights, said Texas’s statewide ban has causes the average one-way travel distance to reach the nearest abortion provider to increase from 12 miles to 243 miles.

They shouldn't be able to get abortions at all. Abortion is murder. End. Of. Story.

Yea people are not getting chemotherapy because of shut down. Cry me a river. But termination of your unborn child today is much more important. Maybe that wild spring break in florida was not such a good idea. https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/04/02/825937343/as-coronavirus-strains-hospitals-cancer-patients-face-treatment-delays-uncertain As Coronavirus Strains Hospitals, Cancer Patients Face Treatment Delays, Uncertainty

Good news. Many lives have been saved.

I might give them credence if they were challenging the state over the suspension on elective procedures overall, instead of pretending that abortion is the only procedure affected and seeking a special exception for it. At this point, these people just seem like activists getting upset that their sacred cow is not truly any more important than most other non necessary medical procedures, that have to be scheduled in advance.

Birth certificates are issued when you’re born... before that “you” are just a chemical reaction. Mind you that same pro-life gov enjoys separating children from their families at the border. Nothing pro-life about that.

This is ridiculous is there now no such thing as personal freedom or choice in this messed up state. It should be a choice by the parents to have this done and or if you are a single mother then it would be her choice no one else's. I don't see right wingers lineing up to take in foster kids. So they shouldn't have a opinion as far as I'm concerned

Honestly if women want abortions, let them have it , there's a catch once you abort a child , you lose all rights to reproduce at that point , your sterilized and your fixed like a dog. No more accidents but no more rights to produce children since these women spread like a dog in heat we treat you like a dog. How's that for a compromise?

Time for women to start using the multiple contraception methods like pills, instead of treating abortion as a valid contraception method. It isn't because it doesn't prevent it from happening. It is clearly baby murder.

Has anyone thought of her carbon footprint? Obviously a woman can choose to murder whatever is in her body, but this move probably killed some endangered turtles somewhere! /s

The Guttmacher Institute spent many years as a part of planned Parenthood before being conviently spun off. They are another shill for the abortion industry.
