Crime rates decline major cities with COVID-19 measures

New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago are seeing a reduction in crime as streets become empty during the coronavirus outbreak. Serious felonies, murders, and arrests all dropped in NYC. The Los Angeles Times also reported significant declines in crime. Chicago reported fewer crimes with the exception of murders which rose. The NY Post reports that crime had risen in NYC earlier in the year.
