Chinese human rights lawyer freed from prison but sent to quarantine

A prominent Chinese human rights lawyer Wang Quanzhang, jailed for subversion, has been released from prison but barred from reuniting with his family in Beijing owing to alleged restrictions around COVID-19. His wife fears authorities are using the pandemic as an excuse to hold him under de facto house arrest indefinitely. Wang has been sent to his home town, Jinan, for quarantine.

He's not released. He's put in house arrest. This headline is misleading left wing garbage.

So he's still in prison then. Who knows what 'sent to quarantine' even means in China.

House arrest, i mean "quarantine", shared with infected distant relatives he's never heard of... The problem solves itself in a month for the politburo.

Oddly enough, a lot of people who have voiced their opposition to the Chinese Communist party have died of the Chinese coronavirus. Interesting . . .
