Microsoft Edge beats Firefox to become second most popular desktop browser

Microsoft Edge has become the second most popular desktop Web browser based on usage, leaving behind Firefox, a report has claimed. According to NetMarketShare, the Edge had nearly 7.6 percent of the market share in March, eclipsing a declining Mozilla Firefox with almost 7.2 percent. Edge is however still far behind Chrome’s 68.5 percent.
