Thousands of coronavirus patients being treated with Hydroxychloroquine in NY

As many as 4,000 seriously ill coronavirus patients in New York are being treated with the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine. President Trump has persistently promoted the drug as a potential weapon against COVID-19, although there is no widespread scientific evidence to date showing it helps battle COVID-19. Even the doctors prescribing it have no idea whether it works.

Why do so many talking heads on tv simply have to have an opinion on something they are not informed on? This is what the rational medical professionals are saying: "If hydroxychloroquine provides protection, then it could be an essential tool for fighting this pandemic. If it doesn’t, then people should avoid unnecessary risks from taking the drug,"

It's only controversial because Trump said anything about it. Otherwise the media and the Bescumbered Left would be trumpeting about how wonderful this is.

The brother of a friend of mine is on a ventilator at Mt. Sinai hospital in NYC. When he was first admitted the hospital protocol was prescribing hydrochloroquin and the antibiotic. After two days the head of the Covid-19 team took over and was angered by what he viewed as a waste of precious time. He prescribed an immunosuppression drug and hydrocortisone to reverse the fibrosis inflammation in the lungs and the pneumonia. He is just now beginning to respond positively. Yes there was a small study but it is inconclusive, and for a president with no medical training and, it seems, little deep knowledge of anything, to be touting any drug treatment in the face of someone like Fauci is just idiotic.

What's lost in the anti-hydro people is, thisnis not intended as a CURE. It is used to treat the symptoms and increase likelihood of survival. The word cure should not be used in conjunction with this treatment.

I hope no one dies from using that untested drug . Because if people did it would be murder if they did under the law.

Turns out the reason they're all pushing this fabrication is because trump is invested in the pharmaceutical company that makes it.

... funny how the media "forgets" to report about azithromycin each and every time these seething heebs in the judenpresse keep trying to attack Trump over a drug combination the French discovered might actually help. One doesn't work without the other. Coincidentally.

If Trump can make money off Covid-19 he will. He's not interested in how many people are going to die, just so long as he doesn't get blamed for it. He's already blaming Obama and the States. Yet, the Obama administration gave the incoming Trump administration a pandemic briefing and guidance workbook should another one occur. Did the Trump administration pay any attention to it? NO. The Trump cult is just dumb as Trump, and maybe worse, because they continue to believe him. Trump is pushing a drug that can have very serious and negative consequences, but because he thinks he knows everything or has "a feeling," it's okay to get on National TV and promote it. He won't listen to the experts because he's a Narcissist, and there's nothing worse to have in office during a crisis.
