Martin Skreli seeks jail release to work on Covid-19 cure

Martin Shkreli plans to seek a 3-month furlough to assist in research work on COVID-19 as he believes that he can aid the industry response to COVID-19. He gained disrepute for artificially surging the price of AIDS drug Daraprim nearly 5000% in 2015, and is serving a seven-year sentence for a investor scam in hedge funds he ran which ends in 2023. His lawyer said he has not yet filed the appeal.

"Why" would they allow a greedy scam to be released, it's a show of impartiality for "greedy white men" who unashamedly gouge the public! No one needs him to get a head start on what he'll do when released from prison in the future!
